The optional tours were created with the purpose of having a wide range of activities that you can enjoy during your spare time, these include relaxing massages in the unique Tortuguero Spa, or an exciting adventure over the treetops; we also offer Caribbean Fishing, and a Night Walk on the beach to witness  the green turtle nesting , this last tour is only available from July to October

Duration: 1 hour: 20 minutes.

It includes exfoliation a wrap with the product appropriate given your skin s need ( chocolate, coffee, grape, mud, algae ) followed by a warm shower to remove the product then  the procedure will be finished with a relaxing 40 minute massage. 

Every massage includes; aromatherapy, music, therapy, and oil essence produced from plants grown organically.

Canopy Tour

Inside of  Ever Green Lodge you will find the  Senderos Aéreos de Tortuguero facilities,which have been the first Canopy  pioneers  , located in the Tortuguero lush area just a few minutes from the Tortuguero National Park. Have you seen a tree from its crown?  In  Evergreen Lodge you will have the opportunity to observe , come and enjoy of an incredible adventure  through the forest canopy in the middle of the jungle.

The Canopy allows any member of the family go from tree to tree in a safe and entertaining way, through a cable at the top of the tropical rainforest .The  tour lasts about an hour and a half ,the equipments are safe and certified by the European Union, the safety manuals are approved by the I.C.T. and the Canopy has the related policies for the activity .

Caribbean Fishing Tour

The north coast of Costa Rica is a spectacular and perfect paradise  to enjoy its beauty; its canals, its forest and the different ecological systems that are easily found in Tortuguero. Thanks to this treasure we can offer you the best caribbean fishing tour in Tortuguero. The fishing tour  takes place in different areas such as “Barra del Colorado”, “Barra de Parismina”, and  “Barra del Tortuguero”, combining exotic freshwater and saltwater in the Caribbean area,with lush landscapes  where the  flora and fauna are unique in the world, where we will see more than fish, herons, tanagers, hummingbirds and mammals.

In the entrance you may catch species of fish such as Snook, Snapper, Mackerel and Barracuda and in the channels  you can catch Mojarras, Snook, Machacas Guapotes, among others.

Facilities: During the tour we offer as many facilities as you wish. The boats have life jackets, comfortable seats, the best professional fishing rods, cooler with drinks and national beer.

Morning Tour

In the early hours of the morning our natural alarm will wake you up, but do not be scared! what you will hear is not a trumpet or a big bell, it will be the howler monkey or  congo that will emit  a loud noise which will not let you sleep anymore, but if you have a heavy sleep  and it does not wake you up ,do not worry because the guide will knock at your door very early, so you can drink some coffee  and get ready for the morning tour, this is the best time to go out and look for wildlife and have it face to face to enjoy it at its heyday; in this way  Ever Green Lodge offers you the possibility of dawn in the middle of the majestic canals, admiring the beauty that gives us the Tortuguero National Park . Among the species of fauna to be found are the manatee, the  Gaspar fish  considered a living fossil, and the most common species like the howler monkey, white-faced monkey, spider monkey, crocodiles, iguanas and birds like the blue heron, aningas, kingfishers, among many others.

Sea Turtle Nesting Tour

Tortuguero is considered the most important place in the western Caribbean for the Green Turtle nesting. The green turtle nesting is one of the most interesting natural phenomena. The process, is considered the most critical period in the biological cycle of the turtle since the females have to go to the beaches  in large quantities and during more or less fixed times . These concentrations and the difficulty of travel on the sand,make these species very vulnerable to man and other predators.That is the reason why the Tortuguero National Park  is interested  in the protection of these marine species. There is no  doubt this is an experience that you should not miss when  visiting the Tortuguero area during the months of  july through october .

Kayaking Tour

We have kayaks that can be used without additional fee. In addition we offer as an optional tour the guided tour in kayak through the Tortuguero National Park Canals, quietly enjoy this beautiful adventure in the exuberant canals and jungle of Tortuguero.
