With a strategic location, you can explore this unique natural reserve that is filled with magic and wonders; tall trees and leafy nature surrounding this special hotel. With the Penitencia Canal flowing in front of our Lodge, we can find a series of canals that we can navigate and see the Natural Park; a tropical jungle that is considered one of the most exotic places on the country. A place where you’ll find bilingual guides that will help you with your doubts during your adventures.
This wonderful hotel has various bungalows and rooms, constructed over pillars designed in the perfect Caribbean style, respecting nature and being in harmony with the wildlife. Its spacious and comfortable rooms have their furniture made out of wood and bamboo, reflecting the unique and tropical style of the region.
In Evergreen Lodge you’ll experience in a sensational way the tropical jungle of Tortuguero. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the flora and fauna of the Costa Rican Amazon. Your vacations won’t be completed until you include our hotel as your destination.

We haven’t always been what we are today, we opened our doors in the 90s with only 6 rooms and a small dining room. We slowly renovated and added rooms, bar, pool, water treatment facilities and a ramps for easy access.
A growth that that has been thanks to you, our visitors who have been passionate for the nature of Tortuguero and its wonders. Your visit in the search of relaxation and adventure have allowed us to improve every day in harmony with nature and its wellbeing.

Unique experience.
Tortuguero is the most important region in the country for the nesting of the Green Turtle (Chelonia Mydas), which arrives to the northern Caribbean coast from July to October to lay eggs. After 60 days the eggs hatch and the beautiful reptiles come out of their egg shells.
During our tours we offer unique experiences where you can get to explore Tortuguero, on our footpaths, the canals and town of Tortuguero.
